All Blacks

The Petone Rugby Football Club has produced 30 All Blacks recognised by the New Zealand Rugby Football Union.

In 1907 the selection of a New Zealand All Black Rugby Football Team (later to become known as The All Golds) would result in these players being cast out by the Rugby Union and losing their "All Black" status. Seven of these were Petone players - several had represented New Zealand on earlier All Black tours. They are recognised as All Golds in the New Zealand Representatives section.

A number of Petone players achieved All Black honours whilst playing for other clubs before joining Petone - we have recognised them in the New Zealand Representatives section also. We in no-way lay claim to these being Petone All Blacks however, we recognise them for the significant contribution they made to the club while playing, coaching and serving here and the positive impact they have had on the whole Petone Community.
