25 June 2016 - Club Round Up

The last minute win for our Brotherhood team over the previous joint competition leaders Norths was a big highlight of last weeks on field action. The Prem Reserves win over a determined HOBM team was another eye catcher and our Winstone Aggregates Colts came out of a top of the table clash with Para Plim with an impressive 63-10 victory.

The off field highlight was undoubtedly the Test match Hangi which was prepared by our Colts under the guidance of coach John Manuel. A very large crowd was in the Clubrooms for the meal and stayed on to watch the AB's wallop the Welsh in the third test. A special thank you goes out to everyone who helped in any way and to those that supported the event.

This week two of our teams have to sit out byes but for the other four it is onwards and upwards with all teams in contention for semi final spots.

This week our Premiers will be seeking redemption after Avalon tipped us over in the first round.

Our Prem Reserves are only a win away from the top of the table and are likewise looking for a big result over the Wolves.

The Brotherhood will be looking for a positive result to help set the mood for their Throw Back party later in the evening.

The Blues Brothers improvement is staggering and a very good finish to the season is on the cards, these guys are now the real deal.
