A last surge by the Wainui boys saw the game swing their way to, unfortunately for the Brotherhood from a comfortable 11-3 lead, to win 20-11.
The Nui can be forgiven this time around for their 16-man push over try they scored to turn the game around but without official touch judges the try was already awarded.
The Nui also had a handy boot that slotted every penalty opportunity given to them.
But for the Brotherhood, the lessons learned from the game will prove more valuable as the season is still young and, as Ray "LeGz Much" has eluded to, with plenty of young family talent emerging and marching to the Brotherhood tune.
